Of particular interest to lawyers is that there is an Anti-Phishing Act before Congress.  The Act provides for prison sentences of up to 5 years and fines of up to $250,000.
Not sure that this will have an impact as a lot of Phishing occurs by people overseas.
People should also be aware of &quot;Pharming,&quot; in which software redirects your browser automatically to a fake banking or other official-looking site.
